Who am I?

Hi, I’m Tiffany. Having lived a life full of adventure, I find myself in a period of transition, ready to embark on an exciting new chapter. As technology advances at an incredible pace, I refuse to be left behind. Much like the bold moves I’ve made throughout my life, this transition has sparked a fire of excitement within me—and I can’t wait to see where it takes me this time.

At 20 years old, you would have found me driving back and forth from Toronto to Arizona pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering. How I ever did that drive at 20 years old is beyond me. It seemed like a perfectly natural thing to do, and only now, many moons later, does it really hit me. 3500 km. 36 hours driving time. To and from AZ not once, or twice, but ten times over 5 and a half years, just me and my dog Cali… across the United States, seemingly through the middle of nowhere. I can still close my eyes and imagine I'm driving. I look over at her, and smile, knowing I am experiencing a time in my life I will always remember and be proud of. I feel safe, ambitious, like I can do anything.

Chemical Engineers obtain a unique degree. Our brains are trained to think critically and find efficiencies in everything we do—whether is’s streamlining processes, reducing waste, or maximizing resources. This training shaped the way I approach every challenge, focusing on practical solutions that improve outcomes. This always involves change and change within organizations can be challenging. Many people like to carry on at the same pace - and I fully understand that - which is why I have been successful when implementing change. I’ve always embraced it with a positive attitude and so much patience, finding transitions to be both empowering and rewarding.

While looking to embark on a new opportunity, I realized that many companies are missing one critical piece of the puzzle: staying up to date with modern technology. This realization reignited my lifelong interest in coding and design—fields that resonate deeply with how my brain works. I’ve always approached problem-solving with the precision and logic of a computer, and I love seeing my ideas and hard work come to life. By starting at the roots and learning to code from the ground up, I can equip myself with the skills needed to not only excel personally but also to become an even more valuable asset to companies. With this knowledge, I can drive innovation, implement cutting-edge solutions, and help businesses stay competitive in a world where technology and artificial intelligence are reshaping industries.

What are my Goals?

I am committed to mastering web development in a short time while maintaining a balanced budget and prioritizing my home life. Is it ambitious? Absolutely—but so were the other adventures I’ve undertaken in my life.

December 2024

After a year of rapidly learning various coding languages, I have never felt so driven. I am so happy with my decision to pursue this path. I mean, I get to create and design and build my own website! It's almost like when you first get your driver's license and realize you can go anywhere!
